Windows 11 (Intel 6core/64GB/Nvidia1070) on local machine/ Windows 10 (AMD32core/128GB/Nvidia3900) on remote machine. Using version 18.0.1 Fusion Studio but has been an issue with older v17 builds too. I realize that Google Chrome Remote Desktop may not be the best solution, but it is free and every other DCC software I use on it seems unaffected. It doesn't seem to affect other programs I am using remotely including Davinci Resolve.

When I reported it as an official bug I was told: "We do not support or test our software using remote methods such as this, so we wouldn't be able to troubleshoot it." Is there an easy solution or is it a very specific bug? These settings will also remain for all future connections.

Once done for all three permissions are, the remote user will have access and control of the macOS device. When done, click the padlock in the lower-left corner again to prevent further changes. Is this a known problem? Anyone else have similar experiences? Note: If TeamViewerDesktop is seen here, please check the box for this as well. Trying to scroll on the timeline will fail.Įven Menu commands like "File/Save" can be activated but will fail to actually do anything ( and the dreaded ":1: attempt to index global 'target' (a nil value)" appears in the console. Trying to cycle through the colour channels using the R G B keys will fail. I am able to login to the remote windows 7 PC from my mac. ":1: attempt to index global 'target' (a nil value)"įor example the frame forward shortcut "]" will stop responding consistently. Mostly it is ok, but I have noticed that after awhile (leaving Fusion operating, then changing browser tabs away from the remote desktop then going back again) various buttons, keys and menu items stop responding and the console starts to fill up with Since the pandemic hit I have been trying to use Fusion Studio remotely using Google Chrome Remote Desktop.
